Delicious! Lots of flavor in the masa of the tamales. Had a great amount of chicken in the tamal Oaxaqueño delicious flavor. Bought regular tamales de frijoles con queso they were delicious. I also purchased Champurrado de Nuez and it also did not disappoint. Totally worth the price hope they never change their recipe. Worth the try!

Their oaxaqueños tamales are the best! The masa has the perfect texture, chicken is shredded and generous, and the green salsa is not too spicy with a lot of flavor.

"The best " everyone says Manila's are the best but I don't think so I always find hair in my tam ales or too much masa and not enough meat. Then they give you a hard time when you complain like they have a lot of tamales what's the big deal.

I love tamales. Driving around on the south side by Midway I've been seeing Rosa's Tamales along Kedzie Ave & 63rd street so I decided to stop in & check it out Rosa's has a variety of chicken & pork tamales both green (spicy) & red tamales. They also have Oaxqquenos (banana wrapped tamales in chicken) or jalapeño & cheese. They also have tamale dulces in corn, pineapple or strawberries. Rosa's sells steak, pork, chicken or chorizo tacos as well as tortas Y burritos. Initially I ordered 3 green/spicy pork tamales to dine in. Well I was eating them a line started to form for people buying tamales. By the time I was done eating I decided to get 1 dozen more w/6 pork (3 green & 3 red) & 6 chicken (3 green & 3 red) tamales for my family they were almost out. It's a good thing there was another small Rosa's on 3811 63rd Ave just east of Pulaski, but the only thing they had left were the green chicken tamales so I asked them to save me a dozen tamales for $14. My brother & sister in law are visiting from Berkley so this worked out good as they loved the tamales.
